Rules

  1. NO LITTER!  You are responsible for any litter in and around the swim that you fish!
  2. All Anglers are permitted to fish with the maximum of 3 rods at any one time.
  3. IF left unattended, ALL RODS must be reeled in and bait removed.
  4. ALL BAIT must be covered if you swim is left unattended.
  5. Fishing permitted from PEGGED swims only.
  6. Entry to the far bank and Island is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. If you get caught up on the far bank or Island and tackle lost, a bailiff must be informed ASAP.
  7. Fishing is to be done FROM PEGGED SWIMS ONLY.
  8. No nuts or pulses, for bait, or loose feed.
  9. Leadcore leader, is NOT permitted on Rougham Lake .
  10. FACTORY BARBLESS hooks only are to be used!  Crushed barbs are not permitted.
  11. NO FIXED OR SEMI-FIXED LEADS or FEEDERS are permitted at ROUGHAM LAKE . The lead or feeder must be totally free running, the full length of the line.
  12. No Spodding.
  13. Fishing with a Floating bait is permitted with one rod per angler.
  14. The lighting of any fire around Rougham Lake is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Gas/Petrol stoves are excepted and are to be used for cooking purposes only.
  15.  ALL FISH must be returned to the water in the swim which they were caught.
  16. KEEPNETS are to be used for the retention of SILVER FISH ONLY.
                                                                                   
 
  1. CARP and TENCH are NOT to be retained for any length of time by any means. This includes the use of a ‘Carp Sack’.
  2. Un-hooking mats or soft padding must be used and on display at all times. This applies to ALL Anglers who fish at Rougham Lake .
  3. Braided Mainline is permitted ONLY for lure fishing.
  4. Alarms and radios are to be kept to a minimum volume.
  5. Alcohol is permitted in responsible moderation.
  6. Bait Boats are permitted if used sensibly.

The Car Park gate must be closed and LOCKED at all times.

THE BAILIFF HAS THE AUTHORITY TO PASS JUDGEMENT IN ANY DESCREPENCY OF THE RULES!
